Channel Four News and ITN won the BPG award for best single documentary with For Sama (Channel Four and PBS Frontline), a film by Waad Al-Kateab, reporting on her own experiences during the Syrian civil war, as the wife of one of the few doctors left in Aleppo, giving birth to their daughter Sama.

Paul Merton congratulates Nicholas Parsons on winning the 2019 Harvey Lee Award

Radio and TV presenter, Nicholas Parsons CBE, who has entertained audiences for more than 70 years, was honoured at the 45th annual Broadcasting Press Guild Awards, sponsored by Virgin Media. The actor and gameshow host has presented Radio 4’s Just A Minute for over 50 years and hosted ITV’s Sale of the Century for 12 years.
