Margaret Forwood wrote for The Sun from 1970 to 1984, pioneering the hard-hitting style of TV column now a staple of every tabloid. She was also TV Editor. For the next five years she was TV Columnist on The People, jumping ship shortly before the proprietor, Robert Maxwell, and from 1989 to 2001 she wrote a television column in the Daily Express.
